Tips for Effective Employee Recognition

Creating an effective employee recognition and rewards program will boost employee engagement and help create a more productive and satisfied workforce.  Here are a few tips for creating an effective program, as well as some simple ideas for inexpensive rewards to better motivate your staff.

Tips for Effective Employee Recognition

  1. Keep it simple.

Basing rewards on measurable goals can make it easier for employees to see how they can earn them.
  3. Start at the top.
When a recognition program has buy-in from every level of the company, it will be more successful.
  4. Communicate.
Always promote your recognition program to make sure employees understand how to earn rewards.
